A wood stock set for an old Marlin/Winchester style lever action rifle. It may be a Rossi brand (?), but I honestly don't know all the differences between these stocks. Please correct me if I'm wrong on this, or if you know what it fits. The stock set is in fair to good used condition, although it does have some issues (please keep reading). The butt stock measures 13" long. Includes butt plate. The forearm is 8.75" long. There are quite a few dings and scratches, with the worst one shown in the 7th photo running along the length of the left side. The right side of the butt had some black marker on it, but it has since been removed. The forearm has a major scrape along with a number of dings and scratches. The butt end has a crack inside the inletting corner, which goes about 1/2" back. The crack is still pretty tight. It also has a long crack or check coming from the butt end, about 2" long. The metal butt plate has a few scratches as well. The butt, forearm, and plate all have the 1285 number stamped/etched in them, which might help to identify what these came from. Please understand that I am not a gunsmith. I purchased a lot of stocks from a police auction, so their history is unknown. No other parts are available. If you need the advice of a gunsmith, call your local gunsmith. If you have questions about measurements or something I can help you with, I will do my best to answer them. I am selling a number of stocks this week. Buy more than one and save on combined shipping costs. This auction is for USA bidders only. Buyer will pay for actual cost Priority Mail shipping to your zip code. If you have any questions, please ask. Thanks!
